Ladies and women The pictures on the right show different situations: Sunday pregnancy is alternated with work clothes. The ladies wear different types of hats: including the tail cap, the round cap and the square cap. Naturally, several models of caps or caps were worn in Gooi- en Eemland; even then there was no uniformity.
A red coral necklace with three, four or five rows and a gold clasp is worn around the neck. The collar jacket is closed high with beautifully stitched pleats at the front. At the bottom of the collar jacket is a small lap that is completely wrinkled, but laid 2.5 meters wide. The fronts of the bracket bags are beautifully embroidered. The aprons are made of Bombazijn or Ranzijn. The ladies wear a black top skirt under the apron. A split in it brings us to the seam pocket in which, for example, a black and white floral handkerchief can be stored.

A dark-colored skirt is worn under the top skirt, which is finished at the bottom by a broom band. Below that we find the white underskirt and the underpants. Finally, there are the self-knitted knee socks with a knitted calf.
The men wear a high cloth cap. Sometimes a gold earring is worn. The Zeeland throat knots are made of gold or silver; they were worn all over the country. Depending on the weather, the men wore short overcoats during the week. The high men’s vest has a double row of buttons and vest pockets. The men also wear a watch chain and sometimes a chatelaine, which is of an older model. The cover under the vest is often made of bed ticking. The pants have a front closure with buttons. Sometimes it is in the form of a valve.
